- ➤ Lizzy’s Fund uses therapy dogs to bring comfort to local nursing home residents this holiday season. Volunteers from ages 12 and up join the Seniors for Seniors program & help foster community connection. Positively Naperville
- ➤ Sidney Barnard Algernon was born in 1819 in New York and moved to Lisle to farm local land, later serving as Township Supervisor and state representative. He joined the local church and is laid to rest in Naperville Cemetery — a legacy that links his era to our community today. Positively Naperville
- ➤ Loaves & Fishes Naperville served over 10,000 people weekly through its grocery market and 12 distribution locations in 2025. The nonprofit provided emergency financial aid and community programs to help families thrive as the year ended. Positively Naperville
- ➤ Naperville Noon Lions received four late-model phone systems with vision and hearing aids and gave them to the Philip J Rock Center and School in Glen Ellyn (a state-supported facility for ages 3 to 21). - ➤ Chabad of Naperville hosted its 20th annual menorah lighting and car parade on Sunday, Dec. 14 in downtown Naperville to celebrate Hanukkah with community members coming together in unity.
