At the July 23 meeting, Naperville Park District executive Brad Wilson updated progress on its new three-year strategic plan covering 2026-2028. The plan details work on an indoor activity center at Frontier Sports Complex slated for 2029, enhanced active adult programming + a new reporting tool for maintenance issues.

Loaves and Fishes Community Services secured $2 million federal funding through the (New Markets Tax Credit) to support its $15 million Nourish Together campaign. The nonprofit will use the funds to expand fresh food distribution and neighborhood access points for about 10,000 people each week in the Chicago suburbs.
