- ➤ Naperville artist Marilyn Dale’s exhibition, Between the Lines, shows mixed media paintings that use WWII letters to tell a story of love and survival at North Central College’s Schoenherr Art Gallery. - ➤ Illinois lawmakers passed a bill that could let terminally ill patients—those with a six-month prognosis—to request lethal medication if they are mentally competent; the measure now awaits Gov. Pritzker’s signature. State Sen. Laura Ellman from Naperville supports the bill, and critics worry that existing biases among doctors may push vulnerable patients toward the option. - ➤ Naperville North unveiled a state-of-the-art turf field in collaboration with the Naperville Park District to create a multipurpose facility behind Harshbarger-Welzel Stadium that supports varsity and freshman sports as well as community events.
