  • Naperville residents can enjoy a range of events this weekend with Halloween celebrations, live theatre, fundraisers and special dining offers such as Rosie’s Home Cookin’ and Kreger’s Brats. The schedule notes trick-or-treating from 4PM to 8PM on Halloween and includes fun activities like a trolley tour of decorated streets—making the fall season vibrant—while supporting local business.  Positively Naperville
  • Naperville will host a festive holiday season with shopping at over 100 downtown stores — many blending modern and historic vibes — and events including dining, tea traditions and a skating rink opening November 20.   • The Better Business Bureau of Chicago and Northern Illinois noted that November is Thank a Business Month and urged Naperville residents to support local businesses like Kreger’s Brat & Sausage Haus with positive reviews and regular patronage. Quigley’s Irish Pub will host Pictures with Santa and the Leprechaun on Sun., Dec. 7 — a community event designed to give thanks and engage local families.  Positively Naperville

CULTURE NEWS

  • North Central College is hosting a full month of fine and performing arts events for Naperville residents—offering a range of live theatre, jazz and classical music shows. The schedule begins today with the Department of Theatre’s production of 'The Moors' at 7:30 p.m. at Madden Theatre—guest recitals and concerts at Wentz Concert Hall will follow throughout November.  Positively Naperville
  • Naper Settlement in Naperville will host a series of family and adult events in November and December that include a history talk by award-winning Ojibwa author Kim Sigafus on November 6, an educators' workshop on November 8, a Family STEM Night on November 13, and a holiday tree lighting on November 19 along with Craft by Beer sessions and Holly Jolly Days in December. The museum is open Tuesday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with admission fees, while Naperville residents with proof get free entry & members receive complimentary admission.  Positively Naperville
