Naperville Park District is hosting Halloween-themed events throughout October—featuring Creepy Critters Month at Knoch Knolls Nature Center, Ghost Stories in the Park from October 3 to October 5 at Riverwalk Grand Pavilion, and Halloween Happening on October 26 for young children.

The club has maintained historic gardens since donating trees in 1979 and has earned awards for preserving Naperville’s heritage.

The Naperville Park District is holding five open houses this month to discuss a potential funding proposal that will support park improvement projects, including new trails and indoor recreation facilities.

Residents can meet park staff and get more information before voting on the proposal on March 17—details were sent by letter on Sept. 24.

Naperville's real estate market has shifted to a more balanced pace as sales slow, days on market increase, and prices hold steady—giving buyers more room to negotiate.
