The Naperville Senior Task Force is asking for nominations for the Senior of the Year award for male and female residents 60 and older who have made a positive impact through volunteer work, mentorship, or advocacy – nominations can be emailed or submitted online by August 31.

The winners will be recognized by Mayor Scott Wehrli at the City Council meeting – details are available on the task force website.

Naperville Park District said that Centennial Beach will have a late-season schedule because many staff return to school — it will close at 6PM on Labor Day, Sept.
