EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Naperville School District 203 is planning to use its surplus funds to build a new bus facility at the central Fifth Avenue site, replacing a temporary trailer used until June 2026—officials say the project could cost up to $17.4 million, with a board vote on Monday, Aug. 4, followed by bidding this fall and construction possibly starting this winter. - ➤ District 204 will combine all high school grade levels into one building in 2027-28 and convert the current ninth-grade center into a multipurpose facility for programs such as STEPS and credit recovery. - ➤ Naperville North High School students pitched their travel product Roam Travel at INCubator EDU’s National Pitch Night in Chicago and finished as finalists among five competing teams—this marks the first time a District 203 team reached the national top five.
