The Naperville Community Fireworks Show, cancelled on July 4 because of weather, will now take place on Saturday, Aug.
8 at 9:30 p.m. at Frontier Sports Complex. The free event will not feature the Municipal Band concert.
🎓 Education
District 203 updated officer agreements with Naperville and Lisle police to comply with Public Act 104-0420 effective July 1, banning citations on school property.
The district will begin annual reviews with community input soon and plan new data reporting next school year 2027-28, following recent board guidance.
North Central College earned accreditation – continued status for its MSPAS program this summer, making its entire suite of graduate health science programs fully accredited.
The college added new programs over the past decade and will welcome its first Master’s Entry to Nursing Practice cohort next fall.
