- ➤ Naperville Responds for Veterans will host the Freedom Ruck March at 8 a.m. on July 4 at the Riverwalk Grand Pavilion to support veterans. The event will continue with an After Party BBQ featuring live music by OMT from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. + later that day, fireworks at 9:30 p.m. will light up the sky from Frontier Sports Complex. SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Gabriel Hill, a senior defensive tackle for Naperville North, broke weightlifting records and ran 40 yards in 4.8 seconds during last season while recording 26 tackles for loss. He signed with Indiana on May 17—he got 19 offers from schools such as LSU and Iowa—and said he will work hard in his final season. Daily Herald
