- ➤ Decorative painted ducks debuted downtown this week as part of the annual summer sculpture series organized by the Downtown Naperville Alliance, featuring 18 sculptures that showcase local themes. The alliance will host the Riverwalk Rubber Duck Race on Friday at 11 a.m. where participants can purchase ducks to support the Naperville Riverwalk Foundation + join a scavenger hunt at local businesses. - ➤ Four Naperville teens developed Eyerobic, an assistive headband that uses a camera and bone conduction headphones to help visually impaired swimmers stay on course. - ➤ Nine students from Naperville School District 203, Indian Prairie School District 204 and two additional local teens were named National Merit Scholarship winners.
