- ➤ Indian Prairie School District 204 officials reported on Monday, May 18 that a $1.2 million federal (Title I) funding cut and rising substitute and special services costs will trigger a $4.9 million deficit next year, leading to a reduction of about 20 positions and discontinued preschool busing to help balance the budget. - ➤ Skywatchers in Naperville can catch a rare blue supermoon on May 31 when the moon is the second full moon of the month and may be seen with Mars, Saturn, Venus, and Jupiter. The event is best viewed 30 to 45 minutes after sunset in the eastern sky. FOX 32

- ➤ Naperville’s Transportation, Engineering and Development Group hosts two input sessions on Thursday, June 4 (8:30 to 10 a.m. and 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Municipal Center) to collect feedback on a downtown streetscape plan.
