- ➤ The Naperville Woman’s Club (NWC) celebrated its charitable work at a recent reception by donating $26,124 through fundraisers that supported groups like Loaves & Fishes and KidsMatter. The club held a D.E.A.R. project on April 12 to promote reading and will host its Fine Art & Artisan Fair at Naper Settlement (NS) on June 28 and 29 with juried art and family activities. CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Several businesses in Woodridge were burglarized early Sunday morning along the busy 75th Street corridor; police responded at about 5 a.m. and 5:12 a.m. at two strip malls and are still investigating the incidents (no arrests have been made). FOX 32
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Naperville District 203 approved changes for high school courses that will take effect in the 2026-27 school year after a years-long review process with staff and student feedback. Administrators will add classes such as Project Lead the Way and criminal justice while removing courses like Humanities II and Peace and Conflict — changes meant to better align offerings with state standards and student interest.
