- ➤ The Naperville Police Department is accepting applications from current and incoming high schoolers for a free six-week Youth Academy that will begin on Thursday nights starting May 29 at the police station. The program will offer hands-on demonstrations, classes, and discussions about forensics, police patrols, the canine unit, investigations, and the special response team—spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis and applications must be submitted by May 21. - ➤ Registration is underway for the free 2025 Illinois Premier Boys State and Illini Girls State programs in Naperville, offering leadership training and summer camp experiences for high school juniors entering their senior year.
