- ➤ Today, digital wellness expert Amy Blankson led a talk at the GPS Parent Series event supported by Naperville School District 203 and Indian Prairie School District 204 to explain how parents can guide kids in using technology wisely — she advised focusing on quality use, earning tech privileges, and modeling positive habits. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Construction began on Eagle Street Gateway improvements along the Naperville Riverwalk as part of the 2031 Riverwalk Master Plan. The $3.5 million project led by Baumgartner Construction and partly funded by a $900,000 federal grant will finish early September and add ADA ramps to fix access issues. Naperville Sun
- ➤ Former Naperville Park Board commissioners no longer get free entry to Centennial Beach or discounts on golf rounds at Springbrook and Naperbrook courses after the board voted 4—2 to end a policy that began in 2009.
