- ➤ The YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago opposes the Naperville Park District's plan to expand facilities and build a new Community Activity Center—citing concerns that the project may duplicate services and raise taxes for residents. The park district will review community feedback, including the YMCA's open letter, before the Board of Commissioners considers a $135 million bond vote planned for March 2026. Naperville News 17
