The Naperville Noon Lions Club will host its 28th Turkey Trot 5K on Thanksgiving Day at 8 a.m. at Naperville Central High School, welcoming runners, walkers, and volunteers to support local charities.

Advance registration is available online until Nov. 22 at lower fees (adults $40, ages 10-14 $30, ages 9 and under $25) before rising to $45 thereafter, and the club recently donated mental health supplies (coloring books, crayons, and pencils) to 22 school health offices.

Downtown Naperville will shine with NaperLights this holiday season—featuring over 250,000 festive lights, giant lighted figures and music-synced displays from 4–10 p.m. Visitors can access the display from Webster Street, Main Street and nearby parking decks while Santa makes special weekend appearances in December.
