- ➤ From November 7–12, Naperville Healing Field of Honor is taking place at Rotary Hill along the Riverwalk at 443 Aurora Avenue to honor military personnel with American flags and a replica of the Vietnam Wall of Remembrance listing over 58,000 names including 11 from Naperville—each evening, the Honor Guard sounds Taps at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. and holds a three-volley rifle salute. The annual Veterans Day ceremony begins on November 11 at 10:45 a.m. with music followed by a tribute at 11 a.m., and hang tags are available daily until 5 p.m. at the Paddleboat Quarry Rentals building. - ➤ Visitors may experience the memorial exhibit at Moser Tower along Naperville Riverwalk, featuring its 72-bell carillon and the Healing Field of Honor with 1,500 American flags on display until Nov. 12. Daily performances include Taps at 5 and 8 p.m. and an Honor Guard at 8 p.m.—reminding all of the shared spirit on Veterans Day. Positively Naperville

- ➤ Dr. Abiódún Gòkè-Paríolá was installed as North Central College’s 12th president on November 6 at Wentz Concert Hall—attended by family, college leaders, and Naperville community members.
