- ➤ Scouting America Three Fires Council will host Casino Royale on November 14 at Hotel Arista in Naperville where guests can enjoy casino games, gourmet food, raffles, and entertainment to support youth scouting programs — those who cannot attend can join via an online silent auction. - ➤ 17-year-old Eric Klabel built a 17.32-foot toothpick tower on Friday in Naperville — he used over 20,000 toothpicks and 400 glue sticks in nearly 100 hours of work to break the Guinness World Record, which is pending official confirmation. Naperville News 17
- ➤ Naperville Police Department and local school districts celebrated elementary student artists whose work was chosen for the 2025-26 Crime Prevention Calendar at an October ceremony—Chief Jason Arres and Mayor Scott Wehrli commended the students for promoting local safety.
