Pronto Italian Sandwiches opened on Tuesday at 221 S.
Washington St. in downtown Naperville, serving authentic Italian handheld sandwiches like the Tarantino and Coppola—made with imported ingredients and in-house Schiacciata bread. Owner Peter Burdi said the shop will soon add alcohol selections and breakfast sandwiches to its menu to offer more variety.
🎓 Education
Indian Prairie School District 204 moved $12.1 million from reserves to update its technology systems—helping cover its shortfall for servers, classroom display screens, and network security upgrades.
The district will start switching email during Thanksgiving break and roll out new internet filtering gradually to meet needs until 2029-30.
Naperville District 203 officials announced a plan to upgrade classroom technology by installing wireless Internet and replacing smartboards with touchboards over the next five years.
The board will vote on tech spending on October 20 — the plan also includes piloting Windows software and a new device replacement cycle.
