Maplebrook student Ashton Balek, a Naperville third-grader, starred in a Recover 180 commercial with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce — the ad was filmed in Florida and he said he was thrilled by the opportunity to work with the famous athlete while building his acting career.

Naperville police and fire held their annual Public Safety Open House on Saturday at the Public Safety Campus—families saw live demonstrations including a mock DUI stop, Taser display, and fire safety tests that showcased the teamwork of local emergency services.
