Naperville will mark the 25th anniversary of Sept.
11 with a ruck march starting at 6 a.m. on Sept. 11 from Safety Town and a ceremony at Riverwalk — beams of light will honor the Twin Towers from dusk on Sept. 10 to dawn on Sept. 11.
🏛️ Government
Naperville city council voted on Tuesday, Sept.
1 to allow bars + restaurants to offer happy hour drink specials, lifting a local ban from 2017. The new ordinance sets a 7 p.m. cutoff, limits discounts to 50%, and requires promotion details be posted seven days ahead.
