- ➤ Crews from the Naperville Park District decided to replace the aqua blue fountain basins along the Riverwalk with black liners for safety and design reasons—kids were seen wading in them. - ➤ A proposal by Karis Critical Data Centers to build two data centers at the former Alcatel-Lucent site on 1960 Lucent Lane raised concerns at a Sept. 3 Planning and Zoning Commission meeting as residents cited issues like noise and diesel exhaust—public comments exceeded two dozen with nearly three dozen written submissions.
