The Naperville Park District will host a series of September events that include martial arts classes for all ages, park visits to view fall changes, a Memory Café (for those with dementia and their care partners) at Fort Hill Activity Center, and a Wonderful World of Wheels event (11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. on September 15th at Wolf’s Crossing) for children ages 1–5 to explore vehicles.

Naperville Park District officials began planning for the 2026 Independence Day fireworks show on August 28 (Mad Bomber submitted a $56,000 bid that is 6% higher due to rising costs and tariffs).

They will award the final contract in September and may consider options to mark the nation’s 250th anniversary.
