Naper Settlement’s historic Century Memorial Chapel will receive new HVAC equipment this fall as the Naperville Heritage Society uses a $200,000 state tourism grant + the project will finish by the end of October.

Naperville School District 203 teachers set a strike date of Tuesday, Aug.

26 and the district said if the strike happens, all schools will be closed with no remote learning or extracurricular activities—childcare options and free meals will be provided. Superintendent Dan Bridges said the Board remains hopeful to reach a fair agreement before the strike date.
