Loaves & Fishes Naperville encourages residents to include the nonprofit in their estate plans this Make-a-Will Month to help expand healthy food services.

Naperville offers a packed weekend with events including indoor shopping at Serendipity Resale for Little Friends, dining at Kreger’s and Rosie’s, a farmers market, a historic picnic downtown, and Friday’s free fireworks at Frontier Sports Complex capped by Sunday’s Rotary Ride.
🎭 Culture
Naperville’s Springbrook Prairie hosted a model plane fly event today at the Model Aircraft Flying Field, where the Prop Masters RC Aero Club flew electric models and held a competition.
Safety officer Dave Cairns said the club now offers free pilot lessons and permit help for beginners.
🏥 Health
The DuPage Health Department held its first Operation Dropbox in July, collecting 949 lbs of donations from 22 sites to aid the Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans downtown Wheaton.
A state-mandated emergency exercise using the donations was held Tuesday, Aug. 4.
