Naper Settlement announced a partnership with Bensidoun USA to expand its farmers' market beginning Tuesday, June 30.

The museum hosts over 40 local vendors, live bluegrass and jazz, food and nature classes, and a kids’ hour — events that include museum entry and a new exhibit celebrating America’s 250th anniversary.

Erika Wood, who served 43 years at the YMCA, will retire as executive director at Fry Family YMCA on July 3 (she plans to travel with her husband) and leave a strong legacy in community programs in Naperville.

Downtown Naperville is hosting Park After Dark from July 17 to 19 at the Community Concert Center — the free series features concerts, interactive activities and picnic packs from local restaurants.

The shows start at 6:30 p.m. and headliners perform at 7:30 p.m.

M/I Homes proposed NorthGate of Naperville, a 171-unit townhome development at 2255 Monarch Drive near Monarch Landing with visitable features & a planned public park site.

The Naperville Planning and Zoning Commission approved the proposal on June 17, and it now awaits a final City Council vote.
