Naperville Park District urges residents to unplug on Saturday, July 11 as part of the statewide Unplug Illinois Day.

Those who visit three parks and complete one activity between July 11 and 19 will be entered for a $25 gift card drawing.

Residents will join the 'A Seat for Everyone: Naperville Comes Together' series starting July 1 at 6:30 p.m. at Stevenson Hall in the Wentz Science Center (hosted by North Central College and Naperville Neighbors United) for conversations where each participant brings a personal item to share.

Taste Buds Kitchen seeks a conditional-use permit for its interactive cooking space at Westridge Court; city staff + eight commissioners approved the plan, which will offer cooking classes for all ages and now heads to city council for final review.
