- ➤ A.D.O.P.T. Pet Shelter in Naperville announced it will expand its community clinic services beginning July 10 by offering appointments for minor illness and injury along with wellness exams, vaccinations, and spay/neuter surgeries — a move that includes special pricing for veterans, individuals with disabilities, and SNAP recipients — as part of its effort to make pet care more affordable. - ➤ Turning Pointe Autism Foundation will host its Annual Golf Outing and Brunch & Browse at Butterfield Country Club in Oak Brook on Monday, July 14, with registration at 10 a.m. and a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. The event will feature keynote speaker Amy Bockerstette and honor award winners Jay Ferguson and Chris Maul—proceeds will support autism programs. - ➤ Bridge Street Properties, M/I Homes and Lincoln Property Co. have proposed new townhouse and row house developments near Crone Middle School and along the I-88 corridor. The Naperville Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on June 18 to review the proposals. Daily Herald

- ➤ Pitcher Jonny Rossi helped the Redwings win 6—3 against Washington by allowing just one run in 5 1/3 innings; the team will now face Cary Grove in the state semifinal Friday at Slammers Stadium in Joliet.
