  • Naper Settlement announced that its welcome film 'Looking Back is Looking Forward' received a Silver Telly in Not-for-profit and a Gold Telly in History, plus a Platinum Award from AVA Digital Awards. Visitors entering the Birck Family Innovation Gateway now will see the 36′ x 11′ film — narrated by Emmy-Award winner Bill Kurtis — that shares Naperville’s history.  Positively Naperville

  • Naperville City Council decided on May 20 to keep voting on non-union employee pay raises instead of letting the city manager decide—council members voted 5–4, saying this change preserves their final authority over future pay raises.  Naperville News 17
