ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Today, visitors to Knoch Knolls Park on 336 Knoch Knolls Road in Naperville saw bluebell buds along the winding trails by the DuPage River and local wildlife including deer and bicyclists, though the blooms have not yet opened. The bluebells are expected to bloom in about a week—covering the area for roughly three weeks.  Positively Naperville

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • State lawmakers on April 12 passed Senate Bill 42 by a vote of 33—20; the measure would stop officers from searching a car solely because of a cannabis smell when the driver or passengers are 21 or older and would require cannabis to be stored securely. The House of Representatives will review the bill and Gov. Pritzker is expected to sign it before it becomes law.  FOX 32
