Rosemary Macko Wisnosky received a proclamation from Naperville City Council on March 18 for 46 years of civic service including 14 years as Honorary Consul to Slovakia.

The award, presented by Mayor Scott Wehrli, also noted her role in building local sister city ties.

Edward Heart Hospital's $29-million expansion will add two new operating rooms and a 10-bed ICU on its fourth floor after approval from the state board; demolition starts in April and construction begins in May to finish by fall 2027.
