  • Loaves & Fishes Community Services will host its annual Chef Showdown on April 16 in Naperville, where chefs from Hugo Frog Bar & Fish House and Hinsdale’s Vistro Prime will create a three-course meal using locally gathered ingredients.   • Actress and New York Times bestselling author Valerie Bertinelli visited North Central College’s Pfeiffer Hall in Naperville recently to discuss her new book Getting Naked: The Quiet Work of Becoming Perfectly Imperfect.   • Naperville resident Barbara Blomquist spotlights inspiring histories of female military service for Women’s History Month.   • The Naperville Career & Networking Center provides career guidance with free webinars, resume help, and job coaching, including an orientation every Tuesday at 9AM and weekly networking and job club sessions for community job seekers (volunteers are welcomed).  Positively Naperville
  • Naperville District 203 board voted against reducing its roster of 38 teachers after community input was heard on Monday, March 16. District officials said they will explore other cost-saving measures to address the projected budget gap for the 2026-27 school year.  Naperville News 17

  • Naperville voters appear to have approved a bond referendum for a new indoor aquatics and fitness center at Frontier Sports Complex, based on unofficial results from Tuesday’s primary. The $120 million measure will fund the facility and parkland acquisitions near Neuqua Valley High School plus 95th Street Library.  Naperville News 17
