- ➤ Naperville police arrested 32 year old Devante Gunn of Chicago on Friday night after he led a high speed chase, tried to take an officer’s gun and was subdued with a stun gun—he now faces felony and misdemeanor charges and will be held in DuPage County jail with his next court appearance on March 31. CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Parade-goers celebrated Irish heritage at the WSI St. Patrick’s Day Parade in downtown Naperville on March 15th with Loaves & Fishes Community Services (a local nonprofit) serving as Grand Marshal. The event, a long-standing tradition (since 1993) that draws thousands, showcased strong Irish cultural ties in the community. Positively Naperville
- ➤ The Fifth Annual I AM SHE EXPO will take place at the NIU Conference Center in Naperville on March 22 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.—organized by She ROCKS IT and S.H.E. Inc.—and will host over 40 women-owned vendors offering health products and wellness services. The expo will also feature small group talks—on grief, therapy, and purpose—to help women connect.
