The 17th annual Rotary Club of Naperville-Sunrise St. Paddy’s Day 5K took place on Sat., March 14 at Centennial Beach featuring costume winners and top finishers who raised funds for local food, housing and mental health programs; the West Suburban Irish St. Patrick’s Parade began at 10 a.m. downtown.

DuPage County officials reviewed a proposal at a March 10 board meeting to use almost $8.74 million in surplus funds for food insecurity programs including a $2.5 million expansion of Loaves and Fishes’ hub; final decisions on the funding options will be made in the coming months.
