Three Metea Valley students launched Crafting with Community to offer free art classes for seniors + youth in lower-income areas.

They hosted sessions last week in Aurora and Naperville, donated 35 craft kits to Hesed House and Arbor Terrace, and are now seeking nonprofit status.

Naperville Responds For Veterans hosts its Strength and Honor Luncheon at Bobak’s Signature Events in Woodridge on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, with a 11 a.m. check-in and noon lunch.

Veterans may RSVP by April 8 for a free ticket plus one guest; others may purchase tickets and sponsorships.

Naperville will welcome spring with events such as a Rotary 5k Run on March 13 at Centennial Beach, an Irish Parade at 10 a.m., Celtic music at Block 59 on March 21, and nature discovery days at Knoch Knolls (plus Easter festivities on March 21 and April 4).
