About this event

Please join your book club friends at Roberto's Ristorante in Elmhurst to discuss The Last Days of Dogtown by award-winning author Anita Diamant

Get ready to step back to the early 1800s in Massachusetts at our November meeting. Set on Cape Ann, Massachusetts, this novel brings to life a rugged, forgotten settlement inhabited by an eccentric community of outcasts, widows, and independent spirits trying to survive on the margins of society. This is a character-driven story that offers plenty of opportunities for rich discussions.

Newcomers are always welcome at our gatherings. Not a member yet? Go ahead and join our group and take advantage of the opportunity to discuss fascinating books with interesting people!

NOTE: Roberto's requires a $25 minimum food/beverage purchase.

Parking is available either 1) on the street, 2) in a lot behind the restaurant via the alley, or 3) in a lot across the street from the front of the restaurant.
