Super Smash Bros. Ultimate League: Season 2 - Tournament 4

About this event

For Grades 6 - 12: Registration Is Full If you would like to be placed on the waitlist, please email Teen Services at YASERVICES@MOKENALIBRARY.ORG Super Smash Bros. Ultimate League is a five-tournament series designed for 16 players who want a season-long competitive experience. Registering enrolls participants in the league for all five tournaments, so participants only need to sign up once to compete in the entire series. The first four tournaments use random seeding and are structured as double elimination brackets. Participants earn points for each victory in those events; the total points accumulated across the first four tournaments determine seeding for the fifth and grand final tournament, which is also a double elimination bracket. While there are no Smash Bros. prizes awarded during the first four tournaments, the Grand Final Tournament will award Amazon Gift Certificates: $100 for 1st place, $50 for 2nd place, and $25 for 3rd place. In addition to the main Smash competition, there will be a side tournament featuring a secret, randomly selected game. That side event will have four prizes: 1st and 2nd place winners will choose their prizes, and the remaining two prizes will be raffled off to all other participants. There will always be Dominos pizza and snacks available for players and spectators throughout the program. Participants are welcome to bring other video games or board games to play while they are not competing in either the main or side tournament.
