About this event
Glass History: Antique Bottles of Hinsdale and Fullersburg
Presented by Craig Wright
Everyday artifacts offer a unique window into our past, revealing the story of how our community lived, worked, and grew. Hosted in partnership with the 1st Chicago Bottle Club , presenter Craig Wright explores local history through the 19th-century glass containers used by Hinsdale and Fullersburg residents every day.
From early pharmacy bottles and medicine vials to local dairy glass, come discover the stories behind these preserved pieces of history, the local merchants who commissioned them, and what these glass artifacts tell us about early life in our towns.
