About this event
Let's meet at the library for a presentation: Helen Keller was an extraordinary American author, educator, and activist who lost both her sight and hearing at just 19 months old. With the help of her devoted teacher, Anne Sullivan, Keller overcame tremendous obstacles and became an international symbol of perseverance, determination, and hope. In this captivating performance, Megan Wells brings Helen Keller’s story to life with respect, courage, and compassion. Speaking in Megan’s own voice, Wells shares her remarkable journey, allowing audiences to experience the challenges, triumphs, and enduring legacy of one of America’s most inspiring women. I will be waiting in the library lobby at 5:45pm. Look for a hot pink coat!
