About this event

Are you between 18–25 and want to meet new people without it feeling awkward?

Come join us for a fun and exciting afternoon and evening at Funway Entertainment Center in Batavia!

We'll spend time getting to know each other, playing UNO, roller skating, enjoying dinner together, and finishing our evening with laser tag and blacklight miniature golf! This Meetup is all about making new friends, having fun, and enjoying different activities together.

No pressure to be super social! We'll start with introductions and UNO so everyone has an opportunity to get comfortable before we begin our activities.

If you're thinking, “What if I don't know anyone?” don't worry about that. A lot of people who join our events come solo, and I'll be there to help everyone feel welcomed and included.

What We'll Do

*Meet together at Funway Entertainment Center

• Introduce ourselves and get to know each other

*Play UNO and socialize

• Go roller skating together

*Take a break for dinner and conversation

• Play laser tag

*Enjoy blacklight miniature golf

• Wrap up our evening together

Everyone will be responsible for paying for their own activities, food, and transportation.

Activity Prices Here are Funway's currently listed prices:

*Roller skating: $8

• Skate rental: 4

*Laser tag: 8

• Blacklight miniature golf: $6

The total for all three activities, including skate rental, is approximately $26 per person before any applicable taxes.

I recommend budgeting approximately 35–45 per person if you plan to participate in everything and purchase food.

Prices are subject to change. Food, drinks, parking, and transportation are at your own expense.

Agenda

3:15–3:20 PM | Arrive & Meet Up Everyone should arrive at our designated meeting spot inside Funway at 3:15 PM.

We'll give everyone a few minutes to arrive and get settled before beginning introductions.

Please try to arrive on time. We won't delay our scheduled activities for late arrivals, but you're still welcome to join us when you get there.

3:20–4:00 PM | Introductions, UNO & Socializing We'll start by introducing ourselves and sharing our names and two things we enjoy!

After introductions, we'll play UNO, talk, and get to know each other.

This will give everyone a chance to feel comfortable and make connections before we begin our activities.

4:00–6:00 PM | Roller Skating We'll enjoy Funway's scheduled afternoon skating session together.

Whether you're an experienced skater or haven't skated in years. There's no pressure to be perfect. Just have fun, enjoy the music, and spend time with everyone!

6:00–7:00 PM | Dinner & Socializing After roller skating, we'll take a break to sit down, relax, and enjoy dinner together.

Funway has an on-site Grill where you can purchase food and drinks.

Buying food is completely optional and at your own expense.

This will also give everyone more time to talk, laugh, and get to know each other.

7:00–8:25 PM | Laser Tag & Blacklight Mini Golf We'll end our evening with two more fun activities!

First, we'll play laser tag together. Afterward, we'll enjoy blacklight miniature golf. We'll take our time and enjoy both activities without rushing.

The exact timing may vary slightly depending on how busy Funway is and how long the activities take.

8:25–8:30 PM | Wrap Up Once we've finished both activities, we'll get together, wrap up our Meetup, and say our goodbyes.

What to Bring

*Yourself

• Comfortable clothes suitable for roller skating

*Socks for skate rentals

• Comfortable shoes for the other activities

*Money or a payment method for activities

• Money for food or drinks if you'd like

*Money for parking or transportation if needed

I'll provide UNO for our group!

RSVP & Waitlist Policy This Meetup is limited to 6 attendees to keep the group small and allow everyone to interact comfortably.

Please RSVP only if you're genuinely interested and available to attend. If all six spots are filled, you'll be placed on the waitlist.

If you're on the waitlist, please keep the following in mind:

• Being on the waitlist does not guarantee a spot.

*You'll need to wait until someone cancels or an opening becomes available.

• If a spot opens, you may be moved from the waitlist to the attending list.

*You may be accepted as late as the day before the event, depending on cancellations.

• Please check your Meetup notifications and RSVP status regularly.

*Do not attend unless you've been officially moved to the attending list.

If you're already attending but can no longer make it, please update your RSVP as soon as possible.

This gives someone on the waitlist an opportunity to attend.

After the Event The Meetup will officially end at approximately 8:30 PM.

If anyone would like to continue hanging out or playing arcade games afterward, you're welcome to do so.

Anything after the official Meetup ends is completely optional and will not be part of the organized event.

Additional activities will be at your own expense.

• Please RSVP only if you can attend and update your RSVP if plans change

*If you need to leave early or step away, please let the host know

• The Meetup is scheduled from 3:15–8:30 PM

*Our exact meeting spot inside Funway will be shared in the event chat on the day of the Meetup
