Join Children’s Theatre of Elgin for a FREE, specially adapted sensory-friendly performance of Disney’s Little Mermaid Jr. on November 21 at 11:00 AM at Hemmens Cultural Center.

This welcoming performance is thoughtfully designed for individuals with sensory sensitivities, autism spectrum disorder, and other developmental differences – along with their families and caregivers.
Modifications may include:
• Adjusted sound and lighting levels
• Reduced startling effects
• A relaxed, judgment-free environment where audience members are free to move, vocalize, and take breaks as needed
Families can enjoy the same high-energy music, humor, and heart of the full production in a more comfortable and supportive setting.
