Seniors Crafternoon: Ornaments for village's holiday tree

About this event

The Village of Downers Grove has asked the community for help decorating the Christmas tree at the Main Street Train Station, and the Township is excited to participate! Come join us as we work together to create a few special ornaments for the tree. The Township will provide a variety of materials, and you’re welcome to bring your own supplies and ideas to add to the mix. We’ll put everything on the table, brainstorm together, and decide what festive creations we can make! A few ornament guidelines: Ornaments must be approximately 8 inches in height or diameter, made from sturdy, weather-resistant materials, have no sharp edges, and be lightweight enough for the tree. Come share your creativity and help us make a Christmas tree that truly represents our community!
