Heartland Marimba, joined by Chicago harpist Jennifer Ruggieri, will perform a festive variety of colorful and uplifting music for the holiday time. HM is the world’s only touring classical marimba company and a leader in the chamber music field. Its mission includes a one-of-a-kind business model that supports a broad and dynamic group of artists for year-round touring, publishes music, hosts festivals, and maintains a robust schedule of community and education events each season. HM’s performances have been described as having “thrilling visual and aural presentation,” bringing “arresting and virtuoso precision,” and being “a very, very, very, very good marimba concert!” (Dubuque Symphony Orchestra, Fanfare Magazine, and Trinidad Bay Music Festival respectively.)
