Volunteer Morning: Hickory Creek Preserve — LaPorte Road Access

You must register by following the directions below.*** Get some fresh air and exercise while helping to make a difference in your community by attending one or more of the Forest Preserve’s volunteer mornings. Activities will include brush control. Age: Ages 10 and older. Space is limited, and registration is required. Please wear clothes appropriate for the weather, getting dirty and being near a fire. Bringing water and snacks is recommended. The ground will be uneven and covered with vegetation, so please wear sturdy footwear. Work will take place on uneven terrain that is primarily natural surface.
