About this event
A tangle of guitars and tight harmonies honed over more than a decade on Chicago's club stages. Falling Stars brings their roots-inflected power pop to the Friendly stage for an evening of hook-driven originals and well-chosen covers spanning Nick Lowe to Leonard Cohen to The Replacements.
Their recent Garden Variety EP, recorded at Chicago's Wall to Wall Recording, showcases what critics have called "sunny side up optimism" wrapped in crunchy guitar jangle that rewards close listening.
Whether you're a lifelong fan of melodic rock or simply appreciate songs built on sharp lyrics and sharper hooks, Falling Stars delivers the goods—and they've been doing it in rooms like ours for years. Come be a stranger here but once.
