Matt Geer is a bold voice in Chicago’s avant-garde underground. Largely self-taught, his work fuses street art, graphic punch, and raw experimentation across painting, textiles, and found objects. His work strip it down to the essentials...sharp lines, unapologetic color, and zero unnecessary noise. Rooted in absurdist postmodern neo-minimalism, Geer’s work is unpredictable and laced with snark. Minimal in form. Loud in attitude.
