David Jonies: 25 Years of CPC's Pipe Organ

About this event

The Community Presbyterian Church (CPC) Concert Series Committee is presenting a free concert on Sunday, November 8, at 3:00 pm. We are celebrating the 25th anniversary of CPC’s pipe organ. The organist will be David Jonies, Director of Music & Organist at Holy Name Cathedral in Chicago. Described as a “gem” by The American Organist and an “impeccable” performer by Bonn newspaper General-Anzeiger , he enjoys an excellent reputation among his colleagues as a concert organist and church musician. The program will include compositions by Bach, Proulx, Piechler, Dandrieu, Reger, and Widor – works chosen to showcase the different sounds of our organ.
