Chicago, it's time to bundle the block! Donate coats and winter items to help prepare families for the winter.❤️🧥

As winter approaches, Rooting On Me, Inc. is bringing our community together to help youth and families prepare for the colder months. Through our Ready & Rooted Winter Coat Drive , we're working to connect families with f ree winter essentials while reminding them that they are seen, supported, and never alone .

Because getting a family ready for winter means thinking beyond one coat. It means helping parents, children, and other household members access the warmth and practical support they need.

🏢 LOCAL BUSINESSES & COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS: SPONSOR A FAMILY

We're calling on Chicago-area businesses and community organizations to step up by d onating a complete set of coats and winter essentials for an entire family on behalf of your business or organization.

Your contribution can help ease a household expense, provide practical support, and show families that their community cares.

🏫 SCHOOLS: HELP CONNECT FAMILIES

Schools are invited to partner with Rooting On Me, Inc. by sharing registration information with students and families who need winter clothing and essentials . Help us connect households with the support they need.

👨👩👧👦 FAMILIES: GET CONNECTED TO SUPPORT

If your household needs winter clothing or essentials, we encourage you to explore the available registration process and learn how to request support. Every family deserves dignity, warmth, and a community that cares.

Early drop-off and pickup options are available.

At Rooting On Me, Inc., we believe strong families and strong communities grow when people have access to practical resources, meaningful connections, and support along the way.

Through our Help Along the Way program and community partnerships, we're working to strengthen family stability and support youth and caregivers beyond moments of crisis. Coats will be distributed at our Annual Family Winter Night Out .

A coat may seem like a simple gift, but meeting a family's practical needs is one way to show care, reduce a burden, and remind a household that its community is willing to show up.
