Join us for a fun, relaxed photography walk along the beautiful Fox River in downtown Aurora!
Whether you're just learning how to use your camera or you've been taking photographs for years, this is a great opportunity to get outside, practice your photography skills, meet fellow photography enthusiasts, and see Aurora from a different perspective.
We'll start with a short photography tip from David of IDT Photo , who brings 41 years of photography experience. Each walk will feature a helpful hint or creative challenge to get you thinking about photography in a new way.
Then we'll head out for a leisurely walk along the Fox River, exploring interesting architecture, reflections, natural light, textures, and those little details we often walk right past.
Along the way, feel free to ask questions, share ideas, and learn from one another. This isn't a formal class — it's an opportunity to enjoy photography together.
We'll wrap up our adventure with an optional stop at a local coffee shop, where we can relax, share our favorite photographs, and get to know each other a little better.
What to bring:
• Your camera, DSLR, mirrorless, or smartphone — all are welcome!
• Comfortable walking shoes
• Your curiosity and creativity
• A little spending money if you'd like coffee afterward
