The Office of Military Affairs is partnering with Packages for Patriots and will be placing donation boxes around campus. Items collected will be given to Packages for Patriots and sent to service members in need. Items for collection should be in new and unopened packages. Those items include: Premium Snack Foods (Non-Perishable) - Brand-name beef or turkey jerky, meat sticks, and summer sausages (No pork) - Quality protein bars, energy bars, and premium granola bars - Blue Diamond almonds, Planters mixed nuts, and gourmet trail mixes - Name-brand cookies, specialty crackers - Liquid I.V., Gatorade singles, and popular water enhancers Personal Care & Hygiene - Premium body wash, 2-in-1 shampoo, and face wash - High-performance stick deodorants (e.g., Old Spice, Dove Men+Care) - Quality toothbrushes, name-brand toothpastes, and dental floss - SPF lip balms (Burt's Bees, Carmex, ChapStick) - High-durability cushioned boot/crew socks (black, white, or coyote brown) CRITICAL SHIPPING RESTRICTION: No pork products of any kind can be accepted (including Slim Jims). Due to strict international postal customs regulations governing many overseas deployment zones, pork is completely forbidden.
